Rock The Vote, Day 22: Kristin Cavallari

Rock The Vote is an original series, where I make an educated and researched guess on who certain celebrities are voting for Nov. 3, 2020.

Kristin Cavallari is a reality TV star and jewelry line owner and the muse behind 500 Days of Kristin, which inspired 100 Days of Julianne, so honestly, we owe her a lot of respect.

But she's also the estranged wife of Jay Culter, a man I know nothing about except he recently posted on Instagram his support for President Donald Trump. When a kind reader sent me this, it made us wonder if politics was a reason for Jay and Kristin's divorce. Let's dive in.

Cavallari is anti-vax, meaning she chose not to vaccinate her second child for fear it could cause autism. There is no link between autism and vaccinations, according to the CDC. The anti-vax movement started in the early 2000s, according to The New York Times, with help from celebrities like Jenny McCarthy and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., two celebrities Cavallari follows on Twitter and Instagram, respectively. 

Cavallari liked this post from Kennedy, claiming the military will "coerce" a COVID-19 vaccination to Americans. Trump has said that vaccines cause autism, according to The New York Times.

In 2016, Cavallari seemingly defended Trump's infamous Access Hollywood "grab 'em by the pussy" talk by saying men are sleazy and that's how they talk. She added she would slap her sons across the face if she heard them talking that way.

I believe Cavallari is voting for Trump or not voting at all.
